September has been a very busy season at The Ranch for which we are very grateful!
New Cabin!
Due to the increasing popularity of our state-of-the-art conference center accommodations we have been booking several conference center groups such as the Captivating women’s retreat, Wild at Heart men’s retreat, church groups, school/college club groups, sport teams, the Iowa Pharmacy Association, football teams and more!
We are very excited to share that one of our new cabins is fully completed that features two separate top and bottom units. Decorated in a rustic elegance, ranch/western theme these cabins are truly one-of-a-kind. We would love to talk to you about renting our facilities for your next group event!
If you are interested please reach out to Genelle at: gengelhoven@wildwoodhillsranch.org to learn more. We will also be updating our website in the near future with more conference center photos and details as we continue to expand our services in this area.
Volunteers needed!
Also, we are seeking volunteers for this busy conference center fall season to help clean and prepare bunk houses and event spaces, wash dishes, buss tables and prepare meals. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity please email Anna today at: alucs@wildwoodhillsranch.org to learn more.
Wild Boar Challenge Recap
We are also thrilled to share that our annual Wild Boar Challenge obstacle course race was a huge success this past weekend. Thank you to the Contributor’s Breakfast Club, a local group of charitable and empowered men in the community, for making this event possible. Over 600 runners registered for this year’s Wild Boar race!
Upcoming Leadership Retreat
In October, we will host a leadership retreat for vulnerable youth to learn and develop trade skills such as financial literacy, writing/resume building, cooking/hospitality, leadership development, woodworking and more. The Ranch also plans to implement a website coding program in the near future to empower youth to potentially pursue rewarding careers in the coding industry. Stay tuned for more to come on this!
Happy fall season to you and your family from the Wildwood Hills Ranch team!
