We understand the value of data as we pursue evidence-based outcomes with the children we serve. We have partnered with Des Moines Public School to receive access to our students’ online academic progress so that we can begin to assemble meaningful pools of data as we evaluate programming moving forward. We are tracking the following data:

Additionally, we have partnered with Results Group, LLC, to continue to develop meaningful metrics regarding the development of the children we serve, including empathy, self-esteem and relational ability.

HIATT MIDDLE SCHOOL CASE STUDY

Wildwood Hills Ranch assisted Hiatt Middle School with a three-year program to positively impact behavior and improve student engagement. Ninety-four percent of Hiatt students were receiving free or reduced lunch, many students came from single- or no-parent homes, and discipline was virtually nonexistent. Over a three-year period, Hiatt sent the entire sixth-grade class for one week to the Ranch to experience the program. In those three years the amount of office referrals due to disciplinary action dropped dramatically.
